We brought PICKLIZ to several countries and coupled it with traditional cuisines from Switzerland, Haiti, Spain, France, England and Germany. We participated at the 4th Chilli Sauce Championships in London and met with Kate and Jess from Catering London at their event Chillilove - a homage to chillies. We also joined the UHUK to celebrate the Haitian Flag Day.
Mid-year, the Kew Gardens let us explore the botanical origins of spices with their festival “Full of Spices”. In autumn, we had the opportunity to have an intimate conversation with veteran director Joseph Charles, right before seeing the inspirational play “Black Spartacus”, based on historical figure Toussaint L’Ouverture. And we ended the year with another celebration, Creole Day.
